Practice laboratory AI provider
In the AI provider practice laboratory, we look at the development, adaptation and introduction of market-ready AI-supported assistance systems for inclusive jobs in the general labor market. The experiences and results are intended to support the development of future AI-supported assistance systems for people with disabilities.
What is the AI Provider Practice Lab?
In our practical laboratory, we develop concepts and recommendations for AI providers for the development, adaptation and introduction of AI-supported assistance systems for workplaces for people with disabilities. The group of AI providers includes both the developers of AI models and technology providers who use AI models in their products .
Together with AI providers, affected employees and companies in the general labor market, we are looking at the different working environments of people with disabilities and the associated opportunities and challenges in the introduction of AI-supported assistance technologies and associated services . At the same time, we are looking at the practical introduction of market-ready, AI-supported assistance systems in the workplaces of people with disabilities.
The aim is to provide specific information on special features in the development and introduction of AI-supported assistance systems for professional participation. This information includes examples of the use of market-ready AI products, concepts and practical examples of participatory product development, testing and product introduction in workplaces, references to forums and networks or even individual business and financing models.
The aim is to support the development of AI applications that not only take into account technical standards and legal regulations such as the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV) or the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), but also have the best possible practical benefit for a very heterogeneous group of users.
